Welcome, I’m Bruce.
I founded Upside Stories because I believe the second half of life holds some of its greatest possibilities — and yet so many of us approach midlife weighed down by stories we never chose: that the best is behind us, that it's too late to change, that wanting more is somehow indulgent.
As a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of practice, research, and postgraduate teaching experience, I've seen how those stories shape our mental health, our relationships, and our sense of what's possible.
I'm here to challenge those stories — with you — through a warm, insightful, down-to-earth, and tailored approach to exploring what this chapter of life is really asking of you, and what it might yet offer.
